This Is The Last Dance

Hey guys once again or perhaps for the last time. I probably would not touch this blog ever again. For a two simple reasons. One reason being that I don’t blog from time to time because I’ve got no time unless it’s an assignment.  Another reason would be that I do not like blogging because it puts a stress on me to find for something interesting.

Since this post is going to be my last, I’m gonna try to make my last post as interesting as possible so here goes nothing.

Well, I managed to catch up with a long time friend today. He was my primary school mate and I knew him since primary school. Ironically, we didn’t really get to speak to one another that much. We both then went on to the same secondary school, but then again, we failed to speak to one another. It was not until we spoke again during our last year in secondary school before our O’levels started. Unfortunately, we stop speaking to each other once again after the O’s were over.

However, when we got to poly, we got to speak to one another again! So cool right? We are in the same poly man! Anyway, we slowly got to catch up with one another after not being in contact with one another for so long. Like today after school, we met up and slacked at our space, reading room, and gossiped about our classmates in secondary school and some other stuff on our macbooks. After that, when we went to take a bus down to Bishan for dinner, we gossiped even more, but at the same time, shared about our life. You can’t expect us to gossip non-stop right. We’ll feel guilty conscious you know? Hahahaha.

Anyway, I’m really glad that I got to know him though i still regret not getting to know him when I was younger. Well, this looks like it’s a brand new start for a really great friendship to be formed in time to come.

Before I go. I would like to thank my lecturer, Mr Leslie Tan for guiding us through this module. I never regretted having him as a storytelling lecturer and i wished he would continue to be our lecturer. Unfortunately, the module was not only about storytelling. It’s also about storyboarding. So sad right? I know. =…( Well, I’d like to thank my lecturer once more and hope to have a casual talk sometime every now and then.

Alright. Good bye forever blog.

I Need A Break!!!

Well well. Another blog post yet again. Now. Where should I start? Well, I might as well start with the thing about the Bangkok trip since the passport is right in front of me. I find that the Bangkok trip thing is pretty troublesome. I mean, people don’t usually have to fill in so many papers just to go for tours right? Well this is pretty different. Different because the amount of papers you have to fill in is like a really thick pile of homework left aside for a week for a particular subject. My mother had so much trouble with it till she made so much noise about it because it was so troublesome especially the subsidy forms. I find it troublesome to and really cumbersome. I’m like going WTF (What The Fill in the rest) because I got to write a 500 word essay on why i wanna go to Bangkok. Who in the right mind writes a 500 word essay just to go to somewhere. Another thing is because of my dad. My mother wanted him to sign some papers for the trip and guess what. He didn’t want me to go so he didn’t sign. Nice? Stupid papers. I feel like burning them with my eyes using pyro telekinesis but too bad i don’t know how and neither do i want to do that because I’m going to burn my house down if I did just that. Okay. I feel better now.

Anyway, I just went to pizza hut with my mother today for dinner. It was pretty good though the service was pretty bad because my mother and I were supposed to be served first as we came in first before the couple came in and sat beside us. Ironically, the couple beside us who came in later got their drinks and pizza first. That made us question how efficient the waiters were in handling their task assigned to them. We had to ask them when the drinks and pizzas were going to be served before they could serve it. It was the same for the pizza. But oh what the heck. I had a good desert to finish off the meal. I had warm chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream for desert. MMmmmmm~~~ Yum!!~~~ Okay. It’s getting really late. I should go to bed before I look like a sleepy panda tomorrow morning. Good night. Till next time. Goodbye!

Event Practice!!!

Hey guys, sorry for the late update this week. Usually, I have quite a handful of things to blog about but strangely, I had nothing to post about. The post was either going to be too short and bitter, or I’d just blank out about other stuff. But fortunately, I’ve found something to blog about. YAY!!!

Anyway, today, I had basketball practice  for an upcoming church event. The event is called “PLAY!”. During the event, the different caregroups would be competing against one another in several competitive sports. It would then be followed by an awesome time of praise and worship by the awesome youth band with awesome music. Whoohoo!!!

Actually, I planned not to play any sports during the event. I was planning on slacking or maybe do a little cheering here and there to boost the spirits of my caregroup members who are competing, and after that have a good time of praise and worship in the evening. Unfortunately, one of my caregroup mates could not make it for practice as he was sick, and they were also short of a player so i decided to join them and take his place during practice. Even though i screw up a little here and a little there ….  In fact, almost everywhere. X_x Anyway, I still enjoyed myself and felt good after that. With some calories that have been burned during practice after a plate of black pepper chicken cutlet rice, who wouldn’t feel good right? Right?!

Anyway, I really am excited about this Saturday’s event for some reason. I am going there to just relax and chill, but it seems like after the practice, I might be doing something more interesting after all. Know what I mean?  =)

Weird People On Bus 153

Wow! Have you seen weird people lately? ‘Cos I have… There has been so many weird people on bus 153. It’s a bus that i take to school and back home. There was this once that I saw this uncle in the bus leering a CHIJ school girl. The girl was scratching her leg but she was in a position that people could erm… how would you put it? Zhao geng? For the benefit of those who don’t understand what that means, it means something like upskirt. Anyway, he kinda kept looking at her with that kind of face which really disgusted me.  These kind of people really disgrace the reputation of men. They make us males look like we are always like that. In the end, it makes our counterparts dislike despise us.

Moving along. There was another time when i was on my way home. I saw bus 153 stationed at where i usually alight to change bus to take home. It was awkward enough when it was parked there but what made it more intriguing was that i saw a police car , 3 St Margret girls , an old man and a few passengers in the bus. When I alighted, I heard some commotion involving the old man and the 3 girls. After a few moments later, the old man came off the bus in cuffs and then escorted to the police car. That raised a few questions on what the old man did. He could have either molested the girls or tried to do something that isn’t moral. You get the idea. That incident was a mystry but it was still weird.

Oh and today, while I was on my way to school, there was this weird old guy in the bus who kept looking back. (What the… I just realised that all the weird people are old men. I hope i don’ turn weird when i grow old.) At first, I kind of let it slide because I thought he was just looking around in the bus. After that, when he looked around again, I looked at him just to check him out. All of a sudden, he stood up. I thought that he was going to get off the bus so i was like “okay, I guess he was just checking where he was when he looked around.” , but in actual fact, he stood up just to challenge me. How do i know? Well, he just stood up and stared at me. Then i was like ” What the… Did i do anything wrong to you? You kept looking back when I when I didn’t do anything to you. Then when i look at you, you started to get pissed off for no good reason.”. Anyway, I just changed seats cos i didn’t want any trouble or anything like that. Okay enough about weird people. I’ve gotten everything off my chest already.

Until next time. Bye bye.

There’s something about Mas Selamat

Hey! Guess what! Do remember Mas Selamat, a terrorist, who escaped from the detention center? The police looked high and low but had failed to find him after more than one year. He was about to fade into recent memory, but in fact, it was quite the opposite. Today, there was a news report on his status that he is detained and arrested in Malaysia. That’s good news isn’t it?

Honestly, he sucks as a terrorist. He tried to bomb Changi Airport but failed and then got arrested. Even though he got out of the detention center, he got caught, yet again. This time, in Malaysia. I’ve never heard of a terrorist being captured two times. Most terrorist either got captured and interrogated for information or hung to death if he has commited murder. But that’s usually not the case because they usually suicide when they bomb or crash a plane. Either that or Singapore’s security is just that damn good.

Oh! Singapore also wants to bring him back as well. I have a bad feeling that it may give him another chance to escape again. For all we know, he’s a pretty good escape artist himself. In my opinion, Singapore’s interrogators and whoever needs to be there ,should go to Malaysia instead. That way, Mas Selamat has a lower chance of escaping. Then agian, it’s just an opinion.

Well this ends my post about Mas Selamat.

My Hobbies

My hobbies. I have too many. They range from sitting infront of the computer, gaming and chatting with friends to going out with friends to chill and relax.

Where should I start? I know. I’ll just start with gaming first. I like computer gaming because they are things that can take your mind off something. Most are beneficial. For example, Counter-strike. That’s a game that actually promotes eyesight!!! Amazing huh. It’s already proven by doctors. It was out in the papers once. It said something like ‘Killing hordes of zombies… promotes eyesight because of colour contrast’. It’s something like that. I’m sure you get the idea. Even though it’s good for your eyes, playing it over long hours would most definitely have the opposite effects. Another example would be playing online scrabble. Ssshhhhh. I’m not supposed to say this, but I’ll say it anyway. It’s what my mother plays. Hey, don’t laugh. As silly it may sound, it is really beneficial. It promotes your vocabulary arsenal. And with a bigger one, you could use a wide variety of words to express and allow the reader to have an idea of what is going on in the situation. I’m sure no one likes to read books with just these few expressions, happy, sad, happy, sad and more happiness and more sadness(oh the joy) because these expressions are just too general. It would cause readers to loose interest, not entice them and catch their attention. These are reasons to why i have gaming as my hobby.

Alright. What’s next? Ah yes! Chilling out with friends. It’s another way to get some weight off my shoulders as I share my heart, my problems with others and even build really strong bonds with my peers. This is one of my favourite hobbies because whenever I need someone to talk to, I have friends to turn to especially when I have problems relating something to my parents. Not to mention, it actually let’s people see the otherside of me instead of seeing an illusion of me pretend to be strong all the time without problems. Even though it makes me look strong, it actually cause others to think that it’s hard to relate to me and that’s not what i want. Because instead of me creating stronger bonds, I am actually creating a great divide between them and myself. On the other hand, when I share the alternate side of me, they would know what’s going on in my life, and if they are experiencing the same thing as I am, they would usually share their problems especially when they feel comfortable(not familiar)around you. A plus point would be that if the both of us are facing the same problem and we walk it through together. It makes us a stronger force against the problem for one, and it strengthens our bonds as well. These are the reasons to why i really love chilling out with friends and this concludes another hobby of mine.

Well there are more hobbies that i have but I’ll just stop here for now or I’m going to be a drag. Okay. See ya.

Wwwwaaaaaasssssssuuuuuuuuppppp!!!

IT LIVES!!! IT LIVES!!!!!!!
